HOWDY pardners! There was rootin’ tootin’ fun for charity last week as kids saddled up to become cowboys and cowgirls at Toddler Sense Dunfermline.

The youngsters enjoyed a rodeo, cooked up a cowboy stew and sang round the campfire at the Tommy’s Sensathon – which raised funds and awareness for Tommy’s charity.

It took place at St Margaret’s Church in Touch with cash from the classes going to help the charity’s medical research.

A spokeswoman said, “We asked the toddlers to mosey on down for some wild west fun and they didn’t let us down with some great costumes and play. Parents told us their kids really enjoyed it and we raised money for a great charity too.” Tommy’s charity, which has been going since 1992, is raising funds for a new research centre, dedicated to preventing miscarriage, which affects one in four parents.

Toddler Sense, which follows on from the award-winning Baby Sensory classes, started in Dunfermline in April and is aimed at kids from 13 months to three years. It has just started in Dalgety Bay and you can find out more by emailing fife@toddlersense.co.uk.

The spokeswoman explained, “The main emphasis of Toddler Sense is on mobility, excitement and adventure.

“It is a fast-moving, action-packed programme, incorporating toddler games. Classes are very different to baby sensory classes but equally addictive!”
