TEENS from West Fife were training for an Award in Dance Leadership (Level 2) with YDance last week at Queen Anne High School.

The course, delivered through the YDance Active project, is offered to schools across Scotland inspiring teenage girls to get active.

The school along with Dunfermline High School, Inverkeithing High School, Woodmill High School, St Columba’s RC High School and Kinross High School have already achieved a nationally recognised qualification under the Award in Dance Leadership Level 1 course.

Lisa Yip, YDance Active project coordinator said, “YDance Active has been delivering Award in Dance Leadership up and down the country since September 2012 and has created over 1000 qualified dance leaders.

It’s wonderful to see so many returning to develop their skills in the Award in Dance Leadership Level 2 course.”
