NHS Fife is now providing specialist sexual health services for young people at the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.
The ‘Hub Plus’ seeks to provide guidance to young people as part of an approach by health chiefs and Fife Council to support positive, responsible and respectful attitudes to sex and relationships.
It will also offer information, education, advice and resources where needed.
Belinda Morgan, head of health improvement at NHS Fife, said, “Involving young people has been key. We have discussed and listened to their views and we have been able to build a local service around their needs.
“The new service is easily accessible and is available at a time and place for young people to use.” The Hub Plus service is available to all young people up to the age of 25 at the Queen Margaret Hospital every Monday from 3.45pm - 5.15pm. Young people can text 07854410052 for an appointment.
There is also another new Hub Plus service available at Lochgelly Health Centre.
