A GROUP of six teenage girls from the Clued Up Project spent their summer taking part in positive activities – including painting the stage at the Glen.

Clued Up is an organisation supporting young people under 25-years-old in the Fife area.

Its outreach consists of both one-to-one and group initiatives broken into two areas: Dunfermline and South West Fife and Kirkcaldy and Levenmouth.

The Clued Up Project aims to provide a comprehensive “youth friendly” substance misuse support and information service to those who need it.

Beth Hamilton, a development worker at Clued Up said, “The group of girls aged 15-17 took part in our Clued Up Girls Group over the summer.

“They were all looking to do something positive with their time. They painted the stage at the Glen giving it a fresh look and putting back into the community.

“Clued Up are also in the middle of making an app which has factual teachings about substance misuse.

"During the summer many of the young people at Clued Up got involved with the app in different ways – we have a girl who is studying to be a make-up artist at college and is involved with Clued Up and she did the make-up for photos and videos showing the effects of substance misuse.”
