BRIDES-TO-BE will be spoiled for choice at Abbot House’s ‘Vintage Wedding Fair’ on Sunday.

The historic Dunfermline attraction will be transformed into a stunning venue for that special day with local suppliers promoting their services.

They include retro boutique Miss Dixiebelle, 40’s and 50’s reproduction fashion specialists, who will be setting up a vintage parlour in the house’s World War II Mural Room.

For lip-smacking goodies, there’ll be samples of delicious sweet treats from Cupcake Planet, and, from Vino Wines, a selection of fine vintages.

Upstairs in the Long Gallery, bridal boutiques The Glass Slipper and Kudos will showcase a range of stunning dresses alongside male kilt models from The Kilt Company.

Also attending are LouLou’s Flowers, start-up Pink China Wedding Stationery, wedding photographer Lana Eve and piper Steve Harper, who will be greeting visitors to the house.

A pagoda, supplied by Blue Sky Marquees, will be set up in Abbot House’s beautiful gardens, and a vintage bus from the Scottish Vintage Bus Museum will be parked outside.

There will also be music laid on by band ‘The Honey Moons’, and Abbot Brew House will be open for grooms-to-be in need of a break from flowers and cake.

The wedding fair will be held from 11am to 4pm. Entry is free.
