WEST Fife families are set to be put through their paces this weekend as British Military Fitness hold a free, festive session in Dunfermline.

The special Christmas fitness class will take place in Pittencrieff Park for anybody who turns up in festive attire on Saturday 20th at 10am.

BMF instructors are encouraging members and non-members to bring their family and don their best Christmassy clothing and take part in a range of festive exercises. Participants can look forward to a mixture of festive activities, such as Santa squats and Christmas crunches, while there are also activities available for children.

Colin Faichney, park manger for BMF Dunfermline, said, “Staying both fit and festive are equally important around Christmas so we think this is a fantastic way to do both this year. Everybody likes to enjoy themselves over the festive period and we believe that's the way it should be. There is no need for people to feel guilty about having an extra mince pie, especially if they have attended our free festive session!” For more information about British Military Fitness, please visit www.britishmilitaryfitness.com or to try a session for free, visit www.britmilfit.com/try-bmf-for-free
