Macmillan Cancer Support’s bright green bus will be parked up outside Pittencrieff Park next Thursday to allow anyone with questions or concerns about any aspect of cancer to call in for a confidential chat with an information specialist or to pick up some leaflets.

Natalie Pallier, Macmillan service manager, said, “Macmillan believes that no one in Dunfermline should face cancer alone and we hope that the mobile information centre will help ensure support is available nearby for those who need it.

“We visit towns and cities across the UK, providing answers to people’s questions about cancer and it’s all free and completely confidential. We’re here for anyone – people who have had a cancer diagnosis, carers, friends or anyone who just wants to know more about cancer. No appointment is necessary so people can just step on board.” The centre will be at the paved area outside Pittencrieff Park, Bridge Street, from 10am-4pm on Thursday 23rd April.

Those who are unable to visit the centre can find information by calling 0808 808 0000 or visiting macmillan.org.uk
