TOP jewellery outlet Pandora is set to open a brand new store right in the heart of Dunfermline.
The high-end brand, famous for its charm bracelets, will open at 135 High Street, bringing a much needed boost to city centre shopping with its sought-after range.
Planning permission was lodged with Fife Council for storefront illuminated signs with the iconic logo as part of plans for the concept store – a full-blown Pandora outlet which carries a complete assortment of products.
Councillor Helen Law, chair of the City of Dunfermline area committee, was pleased about the news.
“We could absolutely welcome Pandora on to the High Street,” she said.
“It adds to the destination feel of people looking for a particular thing.
“It feels like we’re seeing the fruits of our labour in enhancing the city centre.
"It’s been a chicken-and-egg situation as people would like to see different shops but shops follow the people.
“I do feel myself that Dunfermline is picking up and the empty buildings are coming back to life.
"I’m really quite excited that it’s beginning to take off.” Run by franchise partners Jessop Jewellers, more news about the exciting new Pandora store is set to follow in the coming weeks.
