A DUNFERMLINE woman who deliberately set fire to her own home has been jailed for 20 months.
Elaine Mackie (52) endangered her own life and the lives of her neighbours after starting a blaze at 41 Craigmyle Street on Saturday 4th April.
She admitted wilfully setting fire to the curtains in her livingroom, causing extensive damage to her flat and the flat upstairs. And at Dunfermline Sheriff Court last Wednesday, Mackie was sentenced to 20 months in prison.
Sheriff Charles Macnair also imposed a supervised release order for 10 months.
