POLICE in Fife are appealing for information following an indecent exposure in Inverkeithing.

The incident happened around 6.35pm on Monday, March 7 on Waggon Road, near to the train station.

A man exposed himself to a 47-year-old woman and carried out a sexual act while sitting within a parked vehicle.

He was wearing a beanie hat and was in a green coloured vehicle, possibly with a private registration plate.

Police Constable Ross Gribbons, of Cowdenbeath Police Station, said: “Although the man did not approach the victim, it has obviously left her shocked and upset and we are appealing for the public’s help to identify him. Once the report was made we began actively pursuing lines of enquiries and we are reviewing CCTV footage from the area.

“Anyone who was in the area at the time who recognises the description of the man or vehicle should contact the police.”
