ENJOY delicious food and beautiful original artwork at Inverkeithing's summer Artfest this Saturday.

Organised by the Inverkeithing Arts Initiative in collaboration with the Inverkeithing Food Group, the arts and crafts mini-festival, will feature work from 20 artists and crafters, as well as activities for all the family.

Among those taking part are Glass Act, a collective making stained and fused glass items; bag-maker Elaine Bews; painters Helen Rowbotham and Tom Bishop-de-Main; candle-makers Thistle Be Scottish; and jewellery-makers Tartan Hearts.

Visitors will have the opportunity to own an original work of art, donated by each of the participating makers, in the Artfest raffle, and also have fun striking a pose in the Matty and Vee Vintage Caravan Photobooth.

There will be free outdoor activities for kids (weather permitting), and community groups will be in the Friary Garden offering information and activities.

Drop into the the Friary between noon and 2pm to sample locally sourced, homemade food laid on by the Inverkeithing Food Group (donations welcome), and the Friary Gardens will also be open to visitors to explore and enjoy the views over the Forth.

The Artfest will be held between 11am and 4.30pm at Inverkeithing Civic Centre. Admission free.
