AN INVERKEITHING man has appeared in court on stalking charges involving his former partner.

Kieran Moore, 23, of Spencerfield Road, has committed a string of offences against the same woman.

He appeared from custody at Dunfermline Sheriff Court and admitted further offences.

Between April 16 and May 2, he engaged in a course of conduct which caused his former partner fear or alarm by repeatedly sending her messages by text and social media and made phone calls to her.

He breached bail conditions not to contact or approach her between March 22 and April 18.

He also breached a non-harassment order preventing him contacting her between April 18 and May 2.

Moore was already subject to a restriction of liberty order for a previous offence.

Defence solicitor Gwen Haggerty said: “He knows he’s trying the court’s patience.”

Sheriff Derek Reekie called for reports and Moore was remanded in custody until sentencing on June 13.
