A DRIVER heading towards Rosyth had a lucky escape this afternoon after their car plunged down an embankment near the Marine Harvest fish factory.
It's understood the driver noticed traffic backed up at the last moment, braked to avoid it and ended up down the embankment.
Luckily, the car didn't roll and the driver escaped unscathed. There were no other occupants of the car and no-one else involved in the accident, which caused the road just after the roundabout by the fish factory heading towards Rosyth to be closed while the vehicle was recovered.
