A MAN has been charged after a crash involving a car and a tandem bicycle in Rosyth.

A woman riding the bicycle sustained a serious injury to her wrist in the incident, which happened between 4 and 5pm on Saturday March 19 in the Admiralty Road area.

She received treatment at the Queen Margaret Hospital in Dunfermline.

A 27 year-old man was subsequently traced in connection with the incident, and will be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.

Sergeant Hilary McKinlay, from Dunfermline Police Station, said: “One of the tandem riders suffered a painful injury during this incident and we’re still appealing for any witnesses to come forward.”
