POLICE Scotland have confirmed that a West Fife man is in custody in connection with the attempted robbery at a Rosyth convenience store on Friday evening.
Officers had appealed for witnesses after the incident, which happened at about 5.45pm at the Forth Stores convenience store at Crossroads Place, Rosyth.
No-one was injured in the incident.
The man will appear from custody before Dunfermline Sheriff Court tomorrow (Monday).
Officers leading the investigation thanked members of the Rosyth community for their help through the Press website.
