ST JOHN’S Primary in Rosyth held a Christmas play last Tuesday, raising money for charity in the process.

The play was called ‘Shine Star, Shine’ and followed the story of a big star who was finding it difficult to shine while showing the way to Bethlehem.

Shona Munro, a teacher at the school, said, “It went very well, the kids worked very hard and enjoyed it too. It was organised by myself and Mrs Bright and we had families coming to watch the two performances on Tuesday. We’re very proud of all the children and all the hard work that they and their teachers put in.” Donations were given for tickets and the money raised will be going to a charity that will be chosen once the Primary 4-7 play has taken place.
