Police officers and an ambulance raced to the scene at the Shell filling station where a white vehicle collided with the HGV heading eastbound towards Inverkeithing.
One man is believed to have received treatment by paramedics attending the incident, which has resulted in the car and the lorry colliding side-by-side.
Officers at the scene could not comment but the car has suffered considerable damage to its windscreen and on its driver-side.
The road remains blocked and we will have more on this story as it develops.
