POLICE have released details of a Dunfermline man who died at an address in Townhill Road earlier this month.

Graeme Phillips (35) died on Sunday 1st November. There were no suspicious circumstances.

Despite the Press being made aware of the deceased's identity shortly after the incident, Fife Police took over two weeks to release the details.

Mr Phillips was a keen hockey player and a member of Dunfermline Carnegie Hockey Club having previously played for Rosyth Civil Service.

His dad, Harry, also played for the Dunfermline club and only retired from the game a few years ago.

Gordon Johnston (54), Dunfermline Carnegie Hockey Club captain, said, "We are all shocked by the news - it's a tragic situation.

"Our thoughts go out to the family."
