Motorbike blogger films West Fife mini-tours

A FIFE video logger takes a virtual motorbike tour of Rosyth - using a camera attached to his helmet.

It's the creation of a YouTuber calling himself uptowndisco2 who rides throughout Fife capturing his travels.

The brief Rosyth tour see him travel north along Queensferry road and into Camdean.

Another video sees him driving along Halbeath Road Dunfermline to the M90.

Today (Thursday) Google Maps Street View went live offering a 360 degree street level view of nearly every street in the UK.

Watchdog groups in America previously expressed concerns over privacy issues, after the camera caught people appearing in uncompromising positions and one person even appearing to break into a home.

So far, the Press has spotted a man appearing to write on a street sign in Broomhead Drive, Dunfermline.

id applaud this motorcyclist for his interesting series of videos! besides the fact hes protecting himself from other peoples mistakes with video evidence i like how this offers car drivers a view into the dangerous world of biking, often made dangerous by car drivers of course.

Well, deja vu all over again... I featured this guy in my Dunfermline Press Blog in Feb. As a refresher I have added it below. Keep up the good work Mr. Bill... Remember us little people when you hit Hollywood.

    Doodling Uptown.....

Doodling through youtube.com I came across a video series by a fellow Fife resident who goes by user name ‘uptowndisco2'. I have to mention this gentleman as he has a rather unusual hobby in that he tours Fife area on his motorcycle and documents, very amusingly, his travels, using a professional helmet mounted video camera. I got to take a couple of virtual tours of Rosyth and I have to admire the guy for taking the time to create these productions. I have always wanted to ride a motorbike but I don't have the coordination and got tired of falling over a lot. Great job Mr. Bill…
