FIFE police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was found dead in Inverkeithing on Sunday.

The body of Cora Cooper (41) was discovered in a house in Spittalfield Road and officers are hoping for information to piece together the last hours of her life.

The officer leading the enquiry into the death, Detective Sergeant Jimmy Adamson, said, "Although we are satisfied that there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding this death, we are keen to speak to any person who saw Cora Cooper after 3pm on the Saturday.

"Please contact the police on 0845 600 5702."
