FIFE police have become increasingly concerned for the safety of a missing man from Kelty who left his home in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

Kenneth Wallace (45) left home in his car sometime during the early hours of the morning and his family are concerned for his safety, as his disappearance is very much out of character.

The vehicle he left in is a dark green Vauxhall Zafira, registration number SY52AYO.

Mr Wallace is described as 5'9" in height, large build, receding grey hair and wearing a black or dark blue navy hip length jacket, blue jeans and black boots.

Inspector Neil Henderson, who is coordinating the search, said, "The sudden disappearance of Mr Wallace has caused upset to both his wife and children who have made it clear that such behaviour is very out of character for him.

"They are extremely concerned for his well being and hope that wherever he is that he is safe and well and will return home to them.

"I would ask that any person with information regarding the current whereabouts of Mr Wallace contact Fife Police on 0845 600 5702."
