A MAN found dead in Dunfermline's High Street yesterday (Thursday) has been named as David Howsego, Fife police have confirmed.

The 32-year-old's body was discovered in the early hours of the morning, resulting in nearby stores being closed or cordoned off to allow officers to carry out inquiries.

Police said Mr Howsego's full post-mortem results will not be known "for some time" but initial indications are that his sudden death was health-related.
