40-year-old man arrested in Inverkeithing drugs bust

A 40-year-old man has been arrested after police recovered heroin, cannabis resin and cash during a drugs bust in Inverkeithing.
South West Fife police officers executed a drugs search warrant in Fraser Avenue on Wednesday (30th November).
Community Sergeant Jonathan Peebles praised the public for their help in making the arrest.
He said, "I would like to thank the public for continuing to support our efforts to tackle those who blight our communities by distributing harmful drugs.
"This seizure identifies how information given to us leads directly to the recovery of drugs and the arrest of those involved.
"Fife police is committed to taking policing closer to the community and we will continue to take enforcement action in response to information from the public."
PC Louise Thewlis, who is leading the enquiry, said, "Drug dealing is a priority for Fife Constabulary and this latest seizure should act as a reminder to those allegedly involved in such activity that we are determined in our efforts to rid communities of the misery associated with illegal drugs."
