Dope plant drug bust in Rosyth
POLICE in Rosyth discovered a dope plantation at an address in McGrigor Road, yesterday (Sunday).
Drugs worth almost £2400 including cannabis plants and equipment used for cultivation were seized after officers received a tip-off.
A 37-year-old Rosyth man has been charged with offences under the Misuse of drugs Act and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Rosyth Community Sergeant Tony Rogers said, "This is the third similar search that Rosyth Community Team have carried out in recent weeks owing to the vigilance of the public.
"The message is quite clear: if you have drugs in your house, we could be the next visitor who comes knocking at your door."
Community Constable Kelly Bellingham, who led the search, added, "We searched an address after receiving information from the public.
"We regularly receive such information, and I thank the local community for their assistance."
