Police discover cannabis in Rosyth drugs bust
A Rosyth woman has been arrested after police discovered cannabis during a drugs bust at her home.
The raid was carried out by officers from South West Fife Priorities Team and Rosyth Community Team yesterday (Wednesday). The woman was reported to the Procurator Fiscal for offences under the Misuse of Drugs Act.
PC Matt Ghilotti , who led the search, said, "This address was searched after information was received from the public. Support from the public is greatly appreciated and is certainly needed to help tackle drug problems in our communities.
"On behalf of all officers involved in this search I would like to thank the local community for their assistance."
South West Fife Area Sergeant Jillian Neill said, "This was another successful house search in Rosyth carried out by local officers.
"The support of the public is essential and if you have any information about criminal activity please phone the police on 0845 600 5702 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
