Pars stars pay hospital visit
PARS Director of Football Jim Leishman and first-team stars visited patients and staff at the recently relocated children's ward in the new wing of the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy on Tuesday.
Leish told the Press, "We are delighted to be able to visit the children and staff as they settle into their new premises.
"We really see ourselves as a family club and it's great to be involved with such a positive new development that will make such a difference to families in the whole of the Fife area."
Jim is pictured at the hospital with goalkeeper Paul Gallacher, Nick Phinn, Steven Bell, Pars mascot Sammy the Tammy and 11-year-old patient Sophie Allan.

Report commentI think it is very sad that the Dunfermline football players (no stars by the way!) should have to travel to Kirkcaldy to visit a children in hospital who may not even be from this area. Dunfermline children and those from surrounding towns and villages should be in the local hospital near their families, not one miles away with a dodgy bus service and horrendous parking facilities!
