Police investigate West Fife stabbing

POLICE are investigating the stabbing of a 34-year-old man in Inverkeithing around midnight on Wednesday night.

Detective Inspector Michelle Johnson, who is leading the inquiry, said, "We are appealing for any information from members of the public who may have heard or seen a disturbance in the Fraser Avenue or Spittalfield Road area of Inverkeithing about midnight on Wednesday night (18th April).

"Two men are believed to have called at an address in Spittalfield Avenue around this time and we are particularly interested in any information surrounding these men.

"Anyone with information about this crime is asked to report it to their local Police on 0845 600 5702 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
