New Orleans comes to Dunfermline!
NEW Orleans comes to the Dunfermline today (Friday) with a performance by The Stooges.
The band is one of the headline acts at the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, which starts today, and is visiting Fife as part of The Band project, run by ON at Fife.
They'll be performing at the Kingsgate shopping centre between 1.30-2.15pm.
The Stooges formed in 1996 and bring together conventional brass, the sound of traditional New Orleans with hip-hop, R&B, jazz and pop to create a fresh sound that sets them apart from other New Orleans bands.
Their tours have taken them to Asia, Europe and South America, and they've shared the stage with the likes of Ray Charles, Mos Def, Jessica Simpson and Jadakiss.
