Fire crews rush to waste blaze

THICK black smoke dominated the Dunfermline skyline early this afternoon (Tuesday) after a fire at the Elgin Industrial Estate.
The billowing smoke drew a crowd of onlookers to the fire, opposite Howdens on the industrial estate.
It's believed youngsters alerted fire crews. The fire is now out and Paul Udall, site manager for Byzak, contractors for the flood prevention scheme, said it was construction material that was burning.
