Dalgety Bay beauty Donna Lindsay hopes to be among the stars after being chosen to represent Fife at the Miss Galaxy Scotland competition.

The former Inverkeithing High School student is looking for local support to help sponsor her in the run-up to the event.

She already has model competition experience after taking part in the Miss Caledonia pageant earlier this year, and this is another step on her catwalk of dreams to becoming a full-time model.

Donna (26), Orrin Grove, said, "It's always something I wanted to do. I decided If I wanted to follow what I've always wanted to do I had to do something about it now.

"I loved every minute of the Miss Caledonia pageant. I sent my application in for Miss Galaxy Scotland and was chosen to represent Fife from lots of applicants.

"They said my eyes really stood out and I had a great look. I would like to think I could make a career out of this as it would be my dream.

"Pageants are not just about looks. It's about how you carry yourself, confidence and personality and having fun at the same time. You meet lots of nice people along the way."

And if she goes all the way this time she could end up representing her country at the Miss Galaxy International pageant in America.

"I hope to make it through to the international finals to represent Scotland in Florida. I'm proud to come from Scotland and would love to represent my country."

Anyone who would like to sponsor Donna can contact her on donnalindsay09@live.co.uk.
