Dunfermline High shut today
DUNFERMLINE High pupils are off today (Monday) after water problems forced the school to shut.
The decision to close the school was made at 8am this morning, when it was discovered the rainwater collection system that flushes the toilets was not working.
However, the school will be open for community use this evening and is expected to reopen tomorrow (Tuesday).
Craig Munro, Head of Education said: "We apologise to all the pupils, parents, carers, and staff affected by the problem at Dunfermline High School.
"Engineers are working on site today to get the issue resolved as soon as possible."
