DUNFERMLINE mum Jenni Macauley will be raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust this Sunday in the Great Scottish Run.
Jenni (37) who has a 14-month-old boy, has chosen to run in Glasgow because her friend Cameron Warner, who has cystic fibrosis (CF) ,inspired her to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Cameron was one of the Olympic Torchbearer's back in June 2012.
Jenni said, "This will be my first 10k run and I wanted to do something to raise funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust to help them find a cure for the disease.
"My friend Cam is an inspiration. Despite suffering with cystic fibrosis he never lets the illness beat him. This personal challenge is for me and for him."
CF is one of the UK's most common, life-threatening inherited diseases, affecting over 9,300 people .
All money raised will help to fund research into treating and curing Cystic Fibrosis.
