Royal Mail fails to hit targets in Dunfermline and West Fife
DUNFERMLINE and West Fife were among the areas where Royal Mail failed to reach its first-class mail targets.
With 92.7 per cent of first-class mail delivered on time between April and June this year, the KY postcode area narrowly missed the 93 per cent target - but still exceeded the first-class minimum target of 91.5 per cent.
Of Scotland's 13 regulated postcode areas, eight recorded 'excellent' performances, with the PH (Perth) area coming out tops with a 97 per cent rating.
PH was also the best performing postcode across the UK.
Across the UK, 92.9 per cent of first-class mail was delivered on time.
