POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an accident on the A92 earlier today.

A silver Renault Clio collided with the central reservation westbound at approximately 9.10am, a mile west of the Lochgelly junction.

The woman driver was taken to the Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Sergeant Brian Morgan, road policing, said, "We are looking to speak to anyone who may have been on the A92 heading west just before 9.10am and may have seen the Renault Clio."
