Fire breaks out on boat in Rosyth

FIRE crews rushed to Rosyth yesterday (Sunday) after a fire broke out on a boat berthed in the port.

Three fire crews from Dunfermline, and one each from Lochgelly and Kirkcaldy, attended after being alerted at 12.25pm.

The boat, a multi-cat vessel called the Laura M, was berthed in the inner harbour.

The fire was located in the engine room and was put out by 1.45pm.

Fire Fire and Rescue said all persons were accounted for and no one was injured.
