October roadworks to close estate roads
FIFE COUNCIL will shortly be carrying out roadworks on Pitcorthie Road in Dunfermline.
The works are due to start on Monday 8th October and will be completed by Friday 2nd November.
The works involve the renewal of the carriageway surface.
A temporary diversion will be in place via Laburrnam Road, Birrel Drive, Evershed Drive and Morrison Drive. Access for the emergency services will be maintained
The council says every effort will be made to minimise inconvenience to road users and any disruption will be kept to a minimum.

Report commentWhat about Aberdour Road from the "Cottage Inn" to the Linburn Road Junction?
The condition of this road is a disgrace, but does not deliver the same Brownie Points to councillors!
This road was botched a few years back, 'coated' on the cheap by Fife Council.
This would never happen in Kirkcaldy where a carriageway is being turned into a dual carriageway in partnership with NHS Fife; the same old joint venture story between these two parties!
