Cops hunt garage thief

POLICE are appealing for information after a thief broke into the Garvock filling station on Halbeath Road and stole a quantity of cigarettes.

The theft occurred overnight at the Esso garage between Thursday 13th and Friday 14th September when at least one person broke in through the roof.

The shop was closed for several hours on Friday morning while cops investigated.
