Superfast internet for Oakley and Kelty
OAKLEY and Kelty are the latest West Fife towns who are to benefit from super fast internet access.
BT today (Tuesday) announced the town, along with Cowdenbeath and five other Fife areas, will be part of its fibre broadband network upgrade.
It means a further 33,700 homes and business in the Kingdom will have faster access by 2013.
BT say internet users with a fibre broadband connection can do much more online, all at the same time.
For example, a family can download a movie, watch a TV replay service, surf the net and play games online simultaneously.
More than 33,500 already have access to the service in Dunfermline, Inverkeithing and Dalgety Bay.
