THE popular Continental Market makes a return to Dunfermline this week.

Traders will be on the High Street offering a range of food and goods from today (Thursday) until Sunday.

Klaus and Wolfgang Scharf, who sell bratwurst, chicken a la chef and bratkartoffeln (potatoes with onions and bacon), said they liked the town.

Wolfgang added, "It's always a good night out in Dunfermline!

"It's been a bit slow today but it usually picks up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

"This is the third time we've been here and we will be back for Christmas as well."

Thomas Moffat, of Visit Dunfermline, said, "On top of this we have the farmers' market at the Glen Gates on Saturday.

"It's the perfect opportunity to come into Dunfermline with all the family."
