POLICE are currently hunting for three intruders after an alarm was triggered at the former Simclar factory in Dunfermline.

An alarm went off at the site just before 3pm today (Monday) and several police vehicles, including dog handlers, rushed to the empty factory in Pitreavie Business Park.

No one was found inside but the police search is ongoing.

SitexOrbis, the company which is looking after the property, is also making the site secure.
