The Pars are one of the most expensive sides to watch in the First Division, a price of football survey has revealed.

To buy the best seats at East End Park costs £25.30, the most expensive in the division. The club's cheapest day out costs £23.30, matching that of Livingston and 40p cheaper than Falkirk.

The survey discovered the cheapest East End Park season ticket cost £230 and the most expensive £285. For a match day ticket it was £17 and £19 respectively while a programme was priced £3, a pie £1.80 and a cup of tea £1.50.

Hamilton Accies have the cheapest season ticket, priced £150, and the most expensive season ticket belongs to Falkirk, costing £325.

Morton have the cheapest cup of tea, 70p, and Raith Rovers the cheapest pie, priced £1.20. Six clubs had programmes priced £2 while Morton provided the cheapest day out at a cost of £19.

Dunfermline marketing director Tracey Martin said, "We set ticket prices by doing a comparison with all clubs in the 1st Division, especially those of a similar size to ourselves.

"We reduced the prices for both season tickets and walk up prices this season, with only a small increase from season 2010/11 to off set increased match day running costs."

The club have reduced costs to offset any reduction in revenue after losing their SPL status, such as a younger playing squad, and Martin revealed relegation cost the club "at least £1m".

She continued, "Season ticket sales obviously fell from having been in the SPL. However, we have sold over 1700 to date and we would anticipate with the team doing well on the park that we would sell more mid season ticket packages which will be due out very soon and make a great Christmas present.

"Following on from feedback from our fans we have introduced a 10 match ticket package to allow fans who might miss five or six matches during the season to make considerable savings compared to the walk up prices."
