Lorry crashes into rail bridge in Inverkeithing
A lorry overturned after crashing into a rail bridge in Inverkeithing this morning.
The driver of the Dem-Master tipper truck was taken to Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy after the incident in Hope Street at 9.30am.
Police said he was not seriously injured.
Train services were disrupted when the bridge was closed for around 40 minutes so engineers could check for any structural damage.
That check was completed at 10.10am and the bridge was reopened.
At 12pm today, the lorry remains on its side completely blocking the road, which police have closed off between Hill Street and Ferryhill Road.
