A children's choir who performed as part of the Olympic opening ceremony are in Dunfermline tomorrow (Saturday)

The BIG Project Youth Choir will lead West Fifers in an interactive hour of family friendly sing-a-long fun at the Glen Pavilion as part of the Dunfermline Folk Weekend.

In the past year, in a project celebrating Olympic and Paralympic values, they have performed to thousands at Glasgowʼs Celtic Connections, Edinburghʼs Usher Hall, Edinburgh Castle (where they shared the stage with Emeli Sande!) and most recently, to a global audience of over a billion, singing O Flower Of Scotland as part of the Olympic Opening Ceremony.

Their music director is singer songwriter Kim Edgar (King Creosoteʼs Burns Unit bandmate) and the choir is supported by Creative Scotland and Children In Need.

A spokesperson said, "Come along for an uplifting hour of chart hits, mash-ups, world music, action songs and more."

Glen Pavilion, Saturday, 3.30pm. www.dunfermlinefolkclub.co.uk
