Police car clinic for West Fifers
Fife police are putting on a car clinic offering Dunfermline drivers a winter safety check at Asda on Halbeath Road this Sunday.
Officers from the Road Policing Unit, supported by Fife Camera Safety Partnership, are looking to highlight the dangers of using the roads during the winter months.
Sergeant Brian Morgan, from the Road Policing Unit, said, "With the onset of winter drivers should take some time to make sure that their vehicles are ready.
"Particular attention should be paid to tyres, brakes, lights, washers and wipers, seatbelts, horns and mirrors.
"The Road Policing Unit is holding car clinics over the weekend and I would encourage people to speak to the police officers who will give their cars the once over before giving advice about where improvements could be made."
Road policing officers and staff from the Fife Safety Camera Partnership will be in the Asda car park between 11am and 4pm on Sunday.
