MORE than £2,000 worth of cannabis has been seized in Inverkeithing after officers searched a house in Spencerfield Road.

A man and woman, both 53-years-old and from Inverkeithing, have been reported to the Procurator Fiscal after cops discovered the haul on 17th October.

PC Gail Dalglish, South West Fife, said, "I would like to thank the public for their continued support in tackling the cultivation, distribution and misuse of drugs in our communities. This latest search reaffirms our commitment in dealing robustly with illegal drugs that plague our communities.

"We rely on information from the public to tackle drug issues and I encourage anyone with information to contact the police on 08456005702 or Crimestoppers on 0800555111."
