WEST Fife punk star-turned-film director Richard Jobson is being awarded with an honorary degree from Edinburgh Napier University today (Thursday).
Richard, who was just 17 when he became singer with legendary Dunfermline punk band Skids in the '70s, will receive an honorary doctorate of the arts.
He has gone on to enjoy a successful and varied career as a poet, model, style icon, actor, TV presenter and now film director working on his own scripts.
Jobson, who is now 52, will join figures from the arts, academia and business worlds who are also set to receive honours, as well as close to 2000 students, at the Usher Hall.
