Organisers of ‘Dunfermline Live’ have revealed the final line-up a month ahead of the music festival with over 50 acts appearing at 20 different venues.

Taking place from 18th to 20th October, the eventwill welcome Big Country back to their hometown to perform for the Saturday headline slot in the Alhambra Theatre.

There's a great night of original folk/country music coming to the Carnegie Hall on Friday when Dundee's Anderson McGinty Webster Ward and Fisher are supported by Sienna.

Edinburgh's Bwani Junction will be in action on Sunday at PJ Molloys and other top bands playing over the weekend include Dunfermline's own Modern Faces, The Merrylees, Rootsystem, Slipstream and Friends in America.

The Dunfermline Press is the media partner for the event and we will be carrying features on the bands in the lead-up to the festival.

Organiser Calum Miller said: “It’s looking like a great few days ahead with ticket sales for Big Country and AMWWF already nearing our expectations.

"The event will provide a fantastic platform for emerging talent to showcase and gives visitors the chance to catch a varied program of entertainment over the three days.” The event will offer a diverse selection of musical talent with rock, pop, folk, metal and acoustic sets.
