A 25-YEAR-OLD man has appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court charged with the murder of Cairneyhill teenager Hazel North.
John James Davis appeared today (Tuesday) on charges of assault to injury, assault to severe injury, murder and attempting to defeat the ends of justice.
Davis made no plea or declaration. The case was continued for further examination and he was remanded in custody.
His next appearance in court will be on 3rd April.
