POLICE are appealing for information following a series of thefts and attempted housebreakings in West Fife.
Thieves tried to break into a flat in Headwell Avenue, Dunfermline in the early hours of 1st April.
There was also an attempted burglary at Balmule Steading on 17th March, and a crook was disturbed after breaking into a house at Skua Drive, Dalgety Bay around 3am on 16th March.
Property was stolen from a shed in Pitdinnie Farm, Cairneyhill between 23rd and 24th March, and Forrester Park Golf Resort suffered a same fate on 24th March after criminals forced open a shed.
Balgownie House in Culross was vandalised over the weekend of 21st/22nd March with the message 'The People Equals No'.
Officers have also warned that there has been an “unusually high” instance of number plates being stolen from vehicles just now.
