SOCIAL work care users and their personal assistants (PAs) are set to get a pay increase.
Fife Council is moving to ensure the living wage is paid to PAs employed by people who receive their care and support through a direct payment.
The rise of 10 percent is part of a package of increased payments agreed by COSLA (Convention of Scottish Local Authorities) and Scottish Care.
Other increases include a 2.5 per cent rise in maintenance payments for kids in foster care.
